{a trip into the Mustard's garden}
As I settle back into my day to day routine, I find my mind drifting to the sun-and-wine-soaked week I spent in Napa Valley over graduation. The trip is one I'm not sure I'll have the chance to experience again for a long long time (read: next time I'll be paying for it myself) so I was absolutely diligent in recording the entire week with my big fancy camera. What follows are a few of my favorite beauty shots from the trip. Even without people, they seem to convey best the general mood and outright wonderfulness that was that moment in my life. These are the pictures I find myself coming back to over and over.
{a bicycle adventure over the Golden Gate Bridge}
{a retro-vibing movie sign in Tiburon}
{Sam's Cafe, for drinks naturally}
{an eerie picture of Alcatraz from the ferry deck}
{picturesque sailboat skimming the bay}
{the single best breakfast I've ever had}
{Mustard's truckstop}
{gorgeous aging barrels}
{the view from our dinner at Auberge de Soleil}
{an artfully crafted plate, one of many}
{...and dessert...}
{...and drinks}
{sprawling trees on the Gabriel grounds}
{the view from above...}
{...and below}
{fire and air}
{the last traces of red wine}
{late dinners and celebratory champagne}
