Sweet sweet summer is (almost) finally here. I have been absolutely atrocious with my blog posting because things have been insanely hectic what with final papers, final exams, packing up the house to move, packing up my dorm room, preparing for a post-graduation week long trek out to San Fran and Napa, my boyfriend's graduation, senior week, and my own graduation, there has been zero time for anything else. BUT now that I have a minute to breathe in between all of that I thought I'd share a few of the things making me happy on these rare moments of calm.
After all of my required reading was finally done for school, I feel head over heels back in love with reading for pleasure. I have a stack of books up to my elbows that I have been dying to get into, and now I finally can! First on my list - Interview with the Vampire by Anne Rice. I've been curling up with with and my half finished crochet blanket out on the swinging chair on our back porch.

{Some killer wanna-be-cat-eye shades I snagged from Marshalls today}
{A cute little boxy cross body bag that's the perfect size for summer days spent strolling. I ordered it from here, an insanely inexpensive wholesale retailer based in China. Took four weeks to get here but SO worth it.}
{A sweet robin's egg blue nail polish from Loreal's Spring Collection...excuse the horrid manicure!}
{A gorgeous pair of strappy braided sandals from Kenneth Cole Reaction, modeled by my lovely french-tip-toed mama}
{And finally, a brand spankin' new suitcase for the trip out to the West Coast after graduation! Can't wait to stuff this puppy with flowy maxi dresses and strappy sandals.}
